Weather, size and practicality play a part when working on outdoor spaces. Interior designer Greta Apap Bologna from Greta Design also had to contend with strong winds when creating the gazebo and barbecue of this spacious, windswept villa.

Greta Apap Bologna has worked on an array of stunning international projects, as well as numerous local ones. Inspired by the festive sparkle of Christmas, Greta chose to highlight ‘mixed metals’ – a trend that works beautifully all year round. “Matching items isn’t very in for this year or next, so mixing materials – including metals – adds interest and excitement. And, of course, it works beautifully for this time of year too.”
